Kick-off To Launch
and small business owners wordwide.
You don't need a from-scratch custom build. You've got a brand you like and a template you love — you just need someone to make it real without the back-and-forth, the dragging timeline, and the project that quietly eats your whole spring.
So we don't do that. We do one focused, efficient stretch — about two weeks start to finish — with your content ready to go. Less waiting, less overwhelm, and a site that's actually live instead of "almost done."
This is the done-with-you middle path — more hands-off than DIY, more affordable than custom. For when you know what you want and just need it built, beautifully, this week.
You've already got your branding sorted — logo, colors, fonts.

Starting at:
Showit is the platform I build everything on — and once you've got a site on it, you'll get why. Total design freedom, zero coding, and you stay in control after launch.
Showit is genuinely drag-and-drop. Every element can be moved, resized, or restyled — no code, no template jail, no "you can't do that here."
Your mobile site gets its own dedicated design — not a squished version of desktop. Beautiful and intentional on every screen, which is where most of your visitors actually are.
After launch, you're not stuck waiting on a developer. Swap a photo, change a price, add a page — Showit makes it genuinely doable for a non-techie.
Showit pairs with a WordPress blog for serious, SEO-friendly content — the design freedom of Showit with the publishing power of WordPress.
Built-in SEO tools plus RankMath on the blog side mean your site starts out findable — structured the way Google (and now AI search) rewards.
Showit designers are rare — especially in the Hudson Valley. You get a regional specialist on a platform built for exactly this kind of editorial, custom work.
Choose any Refinery Nine Showit template — or tell me your goals and I'll point you to the right one. Either way, you start with a strategic foundation, not a blank page.
I apply your brand, color, type, photography, and copy across your entire template — most run 10+ pages — each one optimized for mobile as carefully as desktop.
We map your site strategy and content plan before a single canvas moves, so your finished site does a job — it doesn't just look good.
You'll get a clear checklist: brand assets, copy, and images. Arrive with these ready and the whole project runs like clockwork — that's the secret to the timeline.
Most projects run about two weeks from kickoff to launch. Here's every step, so you always know exactly where we are.
You review, you give clear feedback, I refine. One focused round to get it exactly right — no endless back-and-forth dragging the timeline out.
We take it live at your domain, and you get launch graphics plus a personalized Showit training video — so you can confidently run and grow your site yourself.
The two-week timeline only works because you arrive ready. You'll get a checklist, but here's what's in your corner before kickoff:
your logo, colors, and fonts (with licenses)
written, edited, and final
sized, optimized, and named
No branding yet? Ask about a semi-custom brand kit. No copy? That's a Custom project, not this one — and I'll point you the right way.
I'm based in the Hudson Valley, and I built Refinery Nine partly because the businesses here deserve brand and web design as good as anywhere in the city — without the city invoice or the six-month wait.
If you're local, that means a real designer you can meet with, who knows this market and the clients you're trying to reach. Anywhere else? The whole process runs beautifully remote.
Showit is home base, but I also build on WordPress, Squarespace, and Shopify case-by-case. Need something specific? Ask for a custom quote and let's talk.
How much does it cost?
Template Customization starts at $2,950 for a full Showit template customization. Payment plans are available — just ask.
How is this different from custom design?
This starts from one of my Showit templates and customizes it to your brand in about two weeks, from $2,950. Custom builds a brand and site from scratch over 12–16 weeks, from $7,500. This is the faster, more affordable path if you've already got your branding.
How long does it really take?
About two weeks from kickoff to launch. The efficient timeline works because you arrive with your branding, copy, and images ready to go.
Do I have to buy a template first?
Yes — you pick a Refinery Nine Showit template that fits your brand, then we customize it together. Not sure which? Ask and I'll help you choose.
What do I need ready first?
Three things: brand assets (logo, colors, fonts), all your copy written and final, and your images sized and ready. You'll get a checklist — having it ready is what keeps the timeline tight.
Is this only for Showit?
Template Customization is a Showit service. If you need WordPress or Squarespace, ask about a custom quote.
